Commercial
An office, plaza or industrial unit
Leslie Street, Wellington East, or one of the older Yonge Street buildings. Concerns are usually after-hours access, contractors, and who is in the parking lot at 6am.

A condo or multi-residential building
Newer stock near the GO station or along Yonge. Concerns are visitor control, garage access, parcel traffic and residents propping doors.

An active construction or development site
Northeast Aurora, Bloomington, or an infill project. Concerns are copper, tools, fuel, and access control while trades are on site.
Price site coverageAurora security at a glance
Supreme Security Services provides licensed security guards, mobile patrol, concierge coverage, access control support and live video monitoring across Aurora, Ontario, covering the L4G postal area. Coverage is sized after a site review rather than sold as a fixed package, and every assignment runs through the same 24/7 dispatch used across York Region.
01The local picture
Aurora is three towns wearing one name
There is the heritage core around Yonge and Wellington, where the buildings are old, the street is busy in daylight and dead by ten. There is the employment land east toward Leslie and the 404, where corporate offices and industrial units sit on large lots with long, unwatched perimeters. And there is the new residential growth pushing north and east, where half-finished blocks sit next to occupied homes.
A guard post written for one of those is close to useless in another. The plaza on Yonge needs someone visible during trading hours and a proper closing routine. The Leslie Street unit needs perimeter checks and dock awareness at 2am. The construction site needs a gate log and a name attached to every delivery.
Our head office is in Concord, which is a straight run up the 400 or 404. That matters more than it sounds: it means supervision is a short drive rather than a phone call, and a patrol unit reaching your site is a realistic conversation rather than a promise on a website.
02Address by address
Where the security plan changes across Aurora
The postcode is the same. The exposure is not. Here is what actually differs, and what we write into the orders for each.
-
1
Yonge and Wellington, the heritage core
Street-facing retail, restaurants, professional offices and older buildings with multiple rear entrances. Daytime foot traffic is heavy and the street empties fast after dinner service. Orders here focus on opening and closing routines, customer-facing conduct, rear-lane checks and a clear after-hours escalation contact.
-
2
Leslie Street and the Wellington East employment lands
Corporate offices, medical and professional buildings, light manufacturing and distribution close to the 404. Large lots, long perimeters, loading areas that are invisible from the road. Orders cover controlled entry, dock and yard awareness, contractor sign-in, and closing checks that are actually walked rather than ticked.
-
3
The Aurora GO area and the Yonge corridor
Newer multi-residential stock, mixed-use ground floors and commuter movement that peaks hard twice a day. Visitor volume, garage entries and parcel traffic all cluster at predictable times. Orders cover lobby and visitor handling, garage patrol, amenity access and documented resident support.
-
4
Bayview, Aurora Heights and the established neighbourhoods
Low-density, affluent, quiet. Problems here are vehicle entries, garage break-ins, and properties left empty for long stretches. This is usually mobile patrol work with scheduled checks rather than a fixed post, sometimes alongside camera coverage.
-
5
Northeast Aurora, Bloomington and the active build sites
Materials, tools, fuel and copper sitting on open ground, with trades coming and going through temporary access points. Orders cover gate control, delivery logs, perimeter rounds, and written handover between shifts so nothing resets at 7am.
-
6
Town facilities, parks and public events
Public-facing activity where the job is crowd awareness and calm access management rather than enforcement. Orders cover entry points, queue awareness, an escalation plan that supports the organiser, and a debrief afterwards.

03What we run
The services Aurora properties actually book
Combined only where the property needs them. Most sites need one or two of these, not all six.
A licensed guard on a defined post
The bulk of Aurora work is a uniformed guard covering a building’s access points on set hours: verifying who comes in, handling contractors and deliveries, walking the property on a schedule, and writing up anything that happened.
- Access control at the entrances that matter
- Contractor and delivery verification against your list
- Interior and perimeter rounds on a documented schedule
- Written shift and incident reports a manager can use
Condo concierge coverage
Front-desk work for the newer residential buildings near the GO station and along Yonge: visitors, deliveries, amenity bookings, key control and the calls that come at 3am. See concierge security, or remote concierge if you only need the overnight hours covered.
Mobile patrol
Scheduled or randomised checks for plazas, offices, industrial units and portfolios that do not need a body on site all night. Cost-effective across several Aurora addresses at once. See mobile patrol.
Construction site security
Gate control, delivery logs, perimeter rounds and after-hours presence for the active builds in northeast Aurora and along Bloomington. See static and patrol coverage.
Live video monitoring
Operators verify camera activity from our Concord monitoring station and follow your written escalation path. Useful where a full-time post is not justified. See live video monitoring and camera installation.
Fire watch
Dedicated patrol and log documentation when a fire alarm, sprinkler or other life-safety system is impaired and the building needs temporary coverage to stay occupied. See fire watch services.

04The document that matters
Ask any provider to show you the post orders
Most security complaints are not really about the guard. They are about nobody having written down what the guard was supposed to do. The site gets a body, the body gets a chair, and three months later the manager and the provider have completely different ideas about whose job the garage was.
Post orders are the fix, and they are the first thing worth asking for when you compare quotes in Aurora. Ours are written after the site review, approved by you before the first shift, and used to brief every guard who works the assignment.
- Every guard is briefed on your property before working it, not handed a generic script.
- Coverage gaps are stated in writing so nobody assumes a single guard is watching four entrances at once.
- Reports are written for follow-up, not to prove attendance.
- One named supervisor owns the site and answers when you call.
Post orders are reviewed with management whenever the property changes: a new entrance, a new tenant, a construction phase, or a recurring problem that needs a different response.
05Choosing the level
A guard on site, a patrol dropping in, or cameras with an operator
Most Aurora buyers are deciding between these three. This compares what each one can actually do, not what it costs.
Plenty of Aurora properties end up layering these: a guard on the hours that matter, patrol filling the rest, and cameras covering the corners nobody can stand in. Coverage is quoted after a site review, because entrances, hours and risk change the answer more than any list can.
06Getting started
From first call to a guard on post
Three stages. None of them involve a salesperson who never sees the building.
Site and schedule review
We walk the property and document the entrances, the busy periods, the quiet hours, what cameras and access systems already exist, and the specific concern that started the search.
From youAccess to the site and an honest account of what has actually gone wrong.
Written post plan and quote
You get recommended duties, staffing hours, patrol points, reporting expectations and escalation contacts in plain language, with the gaps named rather than hidden.
From youDecisions we cannot make: contractor policy, after-hours contacts, and what is out of scope.
Briefing and first shift
Assigned guards walk the property with a supervisor before the first shift. Dispatch and supervision cover the assignment from day one, with closer review in the first few weeks.
From youA named building contact for the first month while the orders settle.
Review and adjust
After the first weeks we look at what the reports actually show and change the plan if the hours are wrong. Most sites need at least one adjustment.
From youFifteen minutes to go through the first month’s reports with the supervisor.

The briefing is the part most providers skip
Guards walk the property with a supervisor before they work it: the entrances, the alarm and life-safety panels, the areas that generate complaints, and the people they will need to contact. It is the difference between a guard who knows your building and a guard who is reading a sheet.
It is also why a supervisor being twenty-five minutes away matters. Briefings, spot checks and problem-solving happen in person rather than over the phone.
07Why Supreme
Why Aurora managers move away from a rotating call-centre provider
The complaint we hear most is not about a guard doing something wrong. It is about nobody being accountable when something goes wrong: a different supervisor each month, reports that never arrive, and a dispatch number that reaches somebody with no idea where your building is.
A named supervisor
One operational contact who knows the property, the post orders and whatever is still unresolved from last month.
Ontario-licensed guards
Every guard licensed under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, briefed on your site before the first shift.
Layered coverage instead of overstaffing
Guards, patrol, monitoring and access control from one provider, so the answer to a gap is not always another eight-hour shift.
Reports written to be read
Shift, patrol and incident notes written so a manager, board or insurer can use them, not to prove a guard was present.
